The article deals with the results of diagnostics of the level of formation of professional competencies of geography teachers. In the course of the study professional deficits in the subject, methodological, psychological, pedagogical and communicative training of teachers were revealed, which should be paid special attention to when building individual educational trajectories and professional development system.
