At the turn of centuries the pre-revolutional situation in Russia was characterized by the loss of social solidarity. Against the background of an acute ideological confrontation social interaction generates varying discourses, uncertainty and risk. Incompleteness of reforms, fragmentation of educational space, deformation of philosophical consciousness and loss of united cultural area become the bases of civilizational collapse.The institutional aspect of pre-revolutionary events was in the fact that the stages of institutionalization of new political institutions fail, and the political elite could not overcome the ideological stereotypes.The article is devoted to the study of sociocultural specifics of disfunctions of social institutes in culture and education in the context of destruction of social order. The article content is focused on the conceptualization of notions that relate to the pre-revolutionary state of society.
