Cel' issledovaniy – razrabotat' mery bor'by s polosatoy pyatnistost'yu (Pseudomonas andropogonis Smith) zernovogo i saharnogo sorgo. Polevye issledovaniya provodilis' na opytno-proizvodstvennyh polyah Povolzh-skogo NII selekcii i semenovodstva v 2010-2015 gg. Ob'ekty issledovaniy – sorta saharnogo sorgo Kinel'skoe 4, zernovogo sorgo Prem'era, Ros', polosataya bakterial'naya pyatnistost'. Polevye i laboratornye opyty i nablyudeniya provodilis' po obscheprinyatym metodikam. Ustanovleno, chto bakterii P. andropogonis zimuyut glavnym obrazom v semenah sorgo, gde posle poseva nachinaetsya ih razvitie i rasprostranenie po provodyaschey sisteme v stebli, list'ya, formiruyuschiesya i sozrevayuschie semena. V period vegetacii bakterii rasprostranyayutsya s pomosch'yu dozhdya i vetra iz plenok ekssudata na nizhney storone list'ev i zarazhayut rasteniya cherez ust'ica, mehanicheskie povrezhdeniya parenhimy verhney storony list'ev, vyzyvaemye glavnym obrazom zhukami novogo pokoleniya polosatoy hlebnoy bloshki (Phyllotreta vittula), chto ustanovleno vpervye. Chem bolee zasushlivye usloviya maya i iyunya i bol'she osadkov i prohladnee v iyule, tem vyshe porazhennost' sorgo polosatoy pyatnistost'yu. K faze fiziologicheskoy spelosti zerna intensivnost' razvitiya polosatoy pyatnistosti sostavila u zernovogo sorgo sorta Prem'era v ostrozasushlivom 2010 g. okolo 60%, v 2011 g. s vlazhnym maem i ochen' vlazhnym iyunem – 9-10%, blizkim k srednim mnogoletnim usloviyam 2012 g. – 36-46%, 2013 g. – 26-35%.
