Diagnostika pnevmocilindrov v rezhime real'nogo vremeni nahodit primenenie v avtomatizirovannyh liniyah, na transporte kak sredstvo periodicheskogo ili servisnogo kontrolya. Vyyavlenie utechek zavisit ot chuvstvitel'nosti i selektivnosti ispol'zuemogo oborudovaniya v nemen'shey stepeni, chem ot ob'emov utechek. V stat'e dan primer uspeshnogo ispol'zovaniya akusticheskoy emissii dlya ocenki sostoyaniya pnevmocilindrov. Primenitel'no k signalam ot dvuh datchikov, razmeschennyh na raznyh koncah cilindra, rasschityvalis' srednekvadratichnye znacheniya amplitud signalov (SZAS) AE, kotorye lineyno zavisyat ot nagruzki pri raznyh vidah nagruzheniya. Parametr SZAS mozhet ispol'zovat'sya v kachestve vazhnogo kriteriya dlya ocenki pnevmaticheskih cilindrov, osobenno v sochetanii s drugimi kontroliruemymi parametrami. Tak otnoshenie maksimumov SZAS i raznica energii signalov AE dlya datchikov AE na raznyh koncah pnevmocilindra, a takzhe fiksiruemoe datchikami uvelichenie vremeni hoda mozhet byt' ispol'zovano dlya razbrakovki.
