ABSTRACT

Violent crimes predominate over other offences and crimes in the level of public danger and severity of the caused. They inflict mortal damage to society. Annually hundreds of thousands of people become victims of such crimes. Persons committing such crimes disseminate stereotype of aggressive violent behavior in domestic and leisure community. These criminal acts are the most condemned from the moral standards viewpoint.The analysis of violent crime structure changes testifies demonstrates public danger increase of certain violent crime categories. The severity of consequences caused by these crimes increased.For a long period of time about two thirds of murders and grievous bodily harm were committed in domestic and leisure relations sphere on the interpersonal conflict grounds. By the beginning of the 90-s of the last century the part of intentional domestic homicides decreased up to 40% due to the growth of lucrative impulse murders and other motives. In the leisure sphere crimes from molester motives are widespread.It is necessary to study this problem thoroughly in order to improve crime prevention management in the sphere of family relations. It is also worthwhile to carry out the complex criminological research of the crime victims’ personalities, their behavior preceding violent crime. It is necessary to develop the typology of victims who behave themselves in various ways in conflict situations (positively, neutrally, normally, negatively).
