Abstract (English):
Several classifications of different types of criminal proceedings numbering from two to five varieties were analyzed in the article, the most striking signs of them were given. The modern convergent (mixed) type of criminal procedure is considered from the position of historical continuity about procedural features and the newest developments of criminal procedure doctrine and practice. The hypothesis that the existing type of process will be replaced by a technocentric model of criminal proceedings was put forward.
