The article is devoted to the assessment of the regulation of the circulation of cryptocurrencies and electronic money in the Republic of Belarus and ways to improve it from the standpoint of ensuring the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to law enforcement agencies, in terms of combating crimes and compensating for the damage caused by them. The paper reveals gaps in the legislation of the Republic of Belarus regarding the circulation of cryptocurrencies and electronic money, justifies the introduction of specific rules regarding the implementation of mechanisms to ensure the onset of legal liability for crimes committed.
