The article deals with the problems of small business development as a subject of regional marketing environment. Regional marketing environment - an environment in which a particular regional government opened new horizons search capabilities of the region´s economy and effective solutions to the problems arising in the implementation of regional social and economic policy. The great potential to attract the region´s economy population, owners and the authorities have small business. In the article the author´s interpretation of regional marketing, entrepreneurship, marketing environment, carried out an integrated assessment of the level of entrepreneurial potential of the Oryol region.
