The analysis of domestic and foreign methods by determine of fire rating of coating for metal structures. An experimental setup was developed for testing fire-resistant coatings in high temperature gas flows. The possibility of realization of typical modes of tests of fire protective coatings in high-temperature gas flow (standard fire curve, hydrocarbon fire curve, external fire curve and other) taking into account the influence of the flow velocity. The technique of definition of efficiency of fire-retardant coatings for steel structures in hydrocarbon jet fire.
