The results of a study of the financial competencies of students are presented, a methodology is proposed for assessing the integral indicator of the level of financial literacy of students based on the factors that shape it: students’ setting of life goals in the field of finance, drawing up and experience in implementing a personal budget, the use of financial planning technologies in the personal life of students, financial culture behavior, entrepreneurial competencies and entrepreneurial experience of students, the presence of those related to finance among the life priorities of students.
