Criminal professionalism is one of topical problems of the present now. From the utilitarian point of view the state and societies sustains serious economic losses from criminal professionalism. It not only a direct loss from professional crimes, the missed benefit and costs of law-enforcement system, but also the means necessary for financing of law-enforcement programs and the maintenance of private security structures and. The damage caused by criminal professionalism in the social sphere not smaller, than in the economic sphere. On the one hand, it is caused by that the considered phenomenon the one existence undermines social foundations. On the other hand, the social and negative phenomena and criminal professionalism form a certain vicious circle mutually causing and complementing each other that finally promotes leveling of social values and blasting social institutes. In the work an attempt was made to classify criminal professionalism on the degree of regularity. In accordance with this criterion, the author distinguishes four forms of criminal professionalismandanalyzesthem.
