The author of the article under consideration states that the number of persons belonging to the subjects of faunal relationships changed during the process of formation of faunal rights as a sub-sector of environmental law. In pre-revolutionary Russia the animal world is not regarded as an independent object of legal protection and use. In this regard, the owners of land, forest areas, water bodies at the same time is the owner of the animal world objects located in these areas. The scope of rights and obligations of the owners of the animal world were governed by the rules of administrative and civil law. After the nationalization of the land in 1917, private ownership of land, mineral resources, forests and water has been canceled, along with the water, forest, wildlife, the land was declared public property. State ownership of land has become a cornerstone of the Soviet land legislation, therefore, legislation is developed on the basis of the principle of state ownership of land and other natural resources. Users of the animal world became Soviet citizens, organizations, enterprises. Industry classification of legal rules on the use and protection of fauna has not been the subject of research. These rules apply to the land law, to prirodoresursovomu law, environment protection law. Therefore the powers of subjects of faunal relationships were fixed in the relevant legislation. Currently, the range of subjects faunal relationships defined by the legislation on the animal world. Current legislation in determining the range of subjects faunal relationships gone the way of the recognition of all those citizens, legal persons in need of wildlife use in accordance with the law for legitimate activities without listing their search. To determine the characteristics of the subjects faunal relationships, the author determined the ratio of civil law, tax law, administrative and fauna right on the personality of the parties involved, the process of their registration as legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, as well as on the order of implementation of wildlife management.
