In unstable conditions, retail enterprises focus their efforts on ensuring the reliability and rhythm of their activities. In this case, improving business processes will effectively ensure the maintenance of sustainability of the retail business in the environment, and will also allow developing new consumer values. The article is devoted to identifying the features of business process management in the field of trade and developing recommendations for improving the regulation of business processes. The main concepts and approaches to business process management and types of business processes in trade are considered. The advantages and disadvantages of the SCOR supply chain management model, as well as the EPWIO information management and organization concept as applied to trade are determined. Recommendations for the successful development of business processes of retail enterprises are proposed.
