Isolates of micromycetes from the genus Fusarium identified as strains F. oxysporum, F. solani and F. redolens were isolated from potatoes with dry rot. The effect of the inoculation method (spores or mycelium) on the virulence was investigated with potato tubers of Zumba and Dogoda varieties. It was found that only one isolate out of six showed varying degrees of virulence depending on the method of infection
