For the first time building material of the temple complex michonne (No. 949 in the List of UNESCO world heritage site) was investigated using x-ray tomography at the synchrotron source and laboratory x-ray. Was able to identify the various components of the mineral composition of the bricks, their distribution in the object. Contrast inclusions are represented by minerals containing Fe and Ti. Among the inclusions are the remains of plants. The assessment of the degree of destruction of building material, pore sizes and cracks. Areas of high density of building elements are revealed. The methods used may be promising for further study of the construction material of the temple complex of michonne and the development of methods for the protection and preservation of world historical heritage sites.
