The possibility of using pulsed ultrasonic probing for problems of vibrodiagnostics of electric power equipment is shown. The scheme of the measuring device is presented and described. A new algorithm for signal processing is proposed to control low-frequency vibrations. It is based on an analysis of the change of the cross-correlation function’s shape.
