A brief analysis of the use of elastic-damper supports in high-speed rotary units is carried out. The principles of UDO operation with discrete control of functioning modes based on structural adaptation are considered. A mathematical model for calculating the dynamic characteristics of rotors is presented. A brief overview of the prospects for using bearing assemblies with controlled parameters is made.
