Article discloses specifics of vocational training of future managers of advertising and public relations. The author emphasizes importance of search of innovative approaches to training of the students promoting formation of knowledge, skills of advance of commercial and non-commercial enterprises and public organizations of welfare orientation. The communication space of welfare activity is investigated, special attention is paid to questions of vocational training of students on the new profile "Sociocultural Communications and PR-technologies".

Актуальность исследования обоснована возникающими современными требованиями к профессиональной подготовке студентов, направленными на формирование профессиональных компетенций и коммуникационных моделей поведения на региональном уровне в процессе обучения будущих менеджеров рекламы и связей с общественностью для реализации государственной политики в социальной и культурной сферах, установлению и поддержанию благоприятных отношений с различными целевыми группами, организации социально-культурной деятельности и массовых мероприятий, обеспечению социокультурных коммуникаций и PR-технологий в учреждениях социальной и культурной направленности.
