The genus Agastacha belongs to the family Lumiaceae, includes 22 perennial species; refers to valuable essential oil plants. Species of the genus Agastache are used as medicinal, spicy-aromatic and food plants. There is evidence that Agastache raw materials help to remove radionuclides from the body and are effective in treating radiation sickness. It is believed that it is capable of delaying the aging of the body. The most widely distributed species are: Agastache mexicana, A. rugosa, A. fenhelium, A. hybrida, A. rupestris, etc. Most of the species of the genus occur in temperate regions of North America. One species, Agastah (multicolor) wrinkled, grows in East Asia. In recent years, Agastache has begun to gain popularity in decorative gardening; its numerous, very decorative hybrids are increasingly used in garden and park construction. Designers are attracted by abundant and long flowering plants, a wide range of compositions where it can be used, as well as a variety of flower colors.
