Objective: represents a new direction in linguistics - linguistic ecology in the modern process of globalization. Methods: description, observation, comparison, cognitive discourse analysis. Results: Based on the analysis, the author identifies the factors that actively influence the Russian language, identifying the positive and negative aspects of the state of modern Russian language. Scientific novelty: The article defines a new direction in linguistics - lingvoekologii that is actively growing and in line with current public policy Russia Practical value: the main provisions and conclusions of the article can be used in research and teaching activities in addressing issues of globalization and preservation of the national culture and Russian language.
