CYCLE “CHILDREN’S SONGS” BY MICHAIL PLETNEV: ANALYTICAL STUDIES
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Purpose: to identify the basic parameters of the style of musical creativity M. Pletnev. Methods: the basis of the study is an integrated approach, which is based on historical, genre-style, comparative interpretation, intonation-dramatic methods. Results: The setting of the study was the statement that a holistic understanding of the style of M. Pletnev's musical creativity is impossible without studying the interaction and interpenetration of the main types of his activities – the pianistic and conducting hypostases of the musician, and their influence on the formation of his compositional style. In the course of the work it was shown that the specificity of M. Pletnev's musical thinking is largely explained by the universalism of his personality. Scientific novelty: on the example of the cycle "Children's songs" the basic parameters of the style of M. Pletnev's musical creativity are considered for the first time. The semantic and compositional parameters of the concept of the cycle "Children's Songs" are determined: graphic clarity of texture and harmony of architectonics, sound quality of writing, intimacy, irony, a subtle understanding of the technological and timbre-coloristic possibilities of various instruments and orchestral groups in general. Practical significance: research materials can be used in pedagogical practice, in particular, in courses on the analysis of musical works, theory and history of performing art, as well as in direct composer and performing practice in solving problems of artistic interpretation.
