A new approach to the realization of machinery friction surface finish grinding ensuring parts life increase is offered. There are shown results of experiments on working mode impact upon surface wear-resistance. A procedure for the choice and correction of friction surface finish-grinding modes taking into account wear-resistance required is presented.
