PROJECT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AS A TOOL FOR MANAGING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIC GOALS

Abstract (English):
Objective: to determine the feasibility of switching the strategic management system to the project management format in connection with the conditions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: observation, analogy, analysis, comparison, generalization, system analysis, grouping data, and theoretical knowledge. Results: based on the analysis and analytics, the need to make changes in the strategic and functional activities of organizations is established, and the ability of a two-level project management system in the context of strategic management to provide a worthy response to modern environmental challenges caused by the epidemiological situation in the world is confirmed. The use of project management along with the implementation of structural changes in organizations will ensure their long-term survival, as well as allow attracting foreign labor without the need for physical relocation, which, in turn, provides access to a wider profile of specialists, while avoiding additional costs. Scientific novelty: the article for the first time considers project management as a tool for implementing strategic tasks in the changed conditions of the internal and external environment caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Practical significance: the main provisions and conclusions of the article can be used by organizations when restructuring the strategic management system to meet modern business conditions. Also in educational and scientific activities.
