This article examines examples of consumer extremism in the practice of Russian entrepreneurs. Based on the types of unscrupulous customers considered, directions are proposed that reduce the likelihood of consumer extremism, which poses a threat to the economic security of companies. The article develops recommendations that will reduce financial risks in the sale of goods and services and increase the level of customer satisfaction. The article will be of interest to entrepreneurs facing customer complaints, as well as to a wide range of readers interested in the problems of consumer extremism.
