COORDINATE SYSTEMS AND VESSEL’S MOVEMENT KINEMATIC CHARACTERISTICS INTERCONNECTION

Abstract (English):
The kinematic characteristics of the vessel’s movement (progress, speed, acceleration) as a rigid body of finite dimensions in various coordinate systems (associated with the ship, fixed, connected with the Earth: route, local topographic, geodesical) are considered. The mutual transformations matrices of the vessel’s motion kinematic characteristics for various coordinate systems are given. The vessel’s safety navigation task is formulated.
