Objective: method modeling diagnostics of the degree of skill development semantic reading in students. Methods: comparison, generalization, observation, qualitative and quantitative analysis, linguoconceptology analysis. Results: modeling system for monitoring the degree of development of the semantic reading skills. Scientific novelty: the model allows monitoring the degree of development of semantic reading skills in adults. Practical significance: the results are useful for teachers of higher education institutions.
